Kurulus Osman (Urdu: The Rise of the Ottomans) is a Turkish historical drama television series. It is the sequel to Dirilis Ertugrul, which was centered around the life of Ertugrul, father of Osman.

The first season, written by  Mehmet Bozdağ, centers around the life of Ertugrul, founder of the Ottoman Empire. The first season contains 27 episodes. The series is set in the 15th century, and it tells the story of the rise of the Ottoman Empire under the leadership of Ertugrul. The plot is based on Ertugrul's biography and the life of his relatives and generals, who played an important role in the expansion of the Ottoman Empire. Ertugrul is portrayed as a successful general who expanded the Ottoman Empire by using Ottoman warfare methods. The series also includes the history of the Ottoman Empire in this period, its social structure, the life of the people, as well as the details of Ottoman battles.

The second season focuses on the conquest of the Balkans and the battles in the Crimea and Europe. It also includes the Turkish-Greek war and the Battle of Anadolu. The series also tells the story of the Ottoman Empire's expansion in the 16th century, with the Battle of Mohács being one of the most important events in the series.
